Did you know that most store-bought pink lemonade is just yellow lemonade with red food dye? We can do better. This recipe usesΒ fresh raspberriesΒ (or strawberries) to create a stunning pink syrup that adds flavor and color naturally. It’s the ultimate Spring refresher.

Ingredients:
- 1 cupΒ Fresh Lemon Juice (about 6-8 lemons).
- 1 cupΒ White Sugar.
- 1 cupΒ Water (for the syrup) +Β 4 cupsΒ Cold Water (for diluting).
- 1/2 cupΒ Fresh Raspberries (The color secret!).
Instructions:
- Make Syrup:Β In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and the raspberries. Simmer for 5 minutes until sugar dissolves and raspberries break down (turning the water red).
- Strain:Β Pour the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the berry seeds. You now have a bright red syrup. Let it cool.
- Mix:Β In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice, the red syrup, and the 4 cups of cold water.
- Serve:Β Taste and add more water if it’s too tart. Serve over plenty of ice with lemon wheels.
